Lynette Hanson
Lynette Hanson has a passion for promoting fun, healthy and active lifestyles . She grew up in Saskatoon and attended both the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Queensland in Australia, to complete her B. SC. in Kinesiology and Human Movement Studies. She began working in the sport and fitness industry early in her career as an instructor for variety of sport groups including basketball, figure skating and swimming. She first moved to Canmore in 2001, and continued to come out during the summer months for work while she attended University. She took on many active roles as a white water rafting guide, rock climbing instructor and trip leader for a youth at risk organization. During the winter months she also instructed various group fitness classes at a local gym in Saskatoon.
After she completed school, she made the move to Canmore permanently. Her work experience since then has included: Manager of Curves for Women, Nutrition & Meal Planning, and Bootcamp Instructor for LifeWorks. She is currently working full time as a Lifestyle Concierge for the Silvertip Golf Course Resorts Club and instructing Boxing Bootcamp at the Canmore Fight Club. In her spare time she enjoys rock climbing, running (half marathon races), paddling, snowboarding, and best of all, hanging out with her favourite buddy Dexter (her giant dog).

Curtis Finkbiner
Born and Raised in Calgary Alberta and has been living in the Bow valley for just over 5 years. Curtis grew up studying Karate and Wresting as well as very active in the outdoors. He went to Mount Royal University for Sports Administration and Outdoor pursuits. After school He went on to work for the City of Calgary, Lindsay Park Sports centre and the YMCA. After years of training Rock climbers he went on to Personal Train for Innovative Fitness in Calgary Alberta. He has been a competitor in Rock-climbing, Kayaking, Orienteering as well as Wrestling and Boxing. He is A Personal Trainer and Fitness instructor with a passion for Health and wellness. |

Pete Cooper
Pete Cooper has 25 years experience in a variety of martial arts. Holding a black belt in 3 of them. He has competed and won titles at all levels, his highest accolade being National Champion in Karate. In the last ten years he has been practicing and instructing in the Academy of Martial Arts, Karate/Kickboxing which is near operating at the CFC. The Academy welcomes all levels from complete beginners to experience Martial Artistes. |

Nick Martin
Nick Martin started his boxing career 10 years ago in the Canadian Armed Forces while station in CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick. Having competed in New Brunswick, Ontario and Alberta, Nick’s journeyman style incorporates all different styles from across the country. Nick moved to Canmore in Jan of 2010 and started teaching at Lifeworks. After teaching there for a year and a half, Nick decided he needed to go further with his training and in Jan 2010, opened the Canmore Fight Club (CFC). Having won the 2010 Alberta Golden Gloves Championship, Nick has something to offer people just beginning their boxing career, to the experience fighter.
